Who is Kristina Joachim?
Kristina Joachim is the founder and CEO of S.H.I.N.E. Solar (Solar Home Innovation Needs Education), operating as My Shine Pros. Before SHINE, she built her career in financial services, insurance and residential solar sales.
Sitting at kitchen tables across Arizona, she kept hearing the same story: families who went solar to save money were still opening electric bills they didn't understand, and the company that sold them the system was nowhere to be found.
So she built the company those homeowners needed: the first post-installation residential solar support company in the U.S. A female-owned Arizona business, led by education, not sales pressure.
Why SHINE was created
The solar industry is built around the sale. Once the panels are on the roof, the installer's job ends and the homeowner is on their own: confusing rate plans, monitoring apps nobody set up, and electric bills that never dropped the way they were promised.
Kristina calls them "solar orphans," and Arizona is full of them. SHINE was created to be the team they never had: independent, education-first support for any solar system, from any installer, of any age.
